The Lord Provides

We stand in awe of the Lord. Friday, July 18 we received news that my chemo treatments would cost $48k and we would need full payment by July 25th before we could schedule or begin treatments.

In the moment it felt like such a HUGE mountain and unattainable financial goal in such a short period of time. BUT God is so good and so much bigger and he made a way and moved a mountain. Thank you so much to each and everyone that has prayed, encouraged and blessed us. You have played a part in kingdom work. “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1.

Jehovah Jireh: the Lord Provides. Wednesday we opened up our checking account to see the financial need met through all the generous blessings and was deposited. We were able to pay in full for the chemo treatments. In little less than 72 hours a financial mountain crumbled at the unity of Gods people. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19.

We will have many more mountains to face on this journey but for the time we are able to walk through the pass and begin my first cycle of treatments July 28-Aug 1. Then we will have two weeks off and repeat until November 14. We are so humbled and grateful to see the outpouring of love from His people to care for our family and needs.
